A peek into what drives our design decisions, how we balance timelessness with trends, and why no two Tesor homes ever look the same
Design is more than just visual beauty — it’s emotional geometry. It’s about how a space makes you feel, how it supports your everyday rituals, and how it tells your story without you needing to say a word.
At Tesor Designs, this belief has shaped our approach to interior design from day one. Based in Bengaluru, our studio has been fortunate to work across a variety of residential projects, each one unique, each one personal. Over the years, we’ve honed a design language that blends transitional interiors with Indian warmth, bold textures with clean lines, and modern convenience with rooted elegance. But beyond aesthetics, what truly defines our work is intention.
A Beginning Rooted in Colour, Curiosity & Craft

Our journey into the world of design began in the most natural way — at home. With a father in the paint industry, conversations around colour, finish, and visual mood were part of daily life. That early exposure, paired with a love for Indian handlooms, handicrafts, and home styling, shaped a creative curiosity that refused to sit still.
But what pushed us to start Tesor Designs wasn’t just love for design — it was a shared observation that luxury interiors in India often lacked client-centricity. Too often, good design came with poor service, or beautiful spaces missed the mark emotionally. We wanted to change that.
So we built a studio that prioritises honesty, accountability, and detail — not just in design, but in process.
Client-Centric Interior Design That Feels Personal

No two families are the same — so why should their homes be? That’s the question we ask before we begin any project.
Our process starts by understanding the people we’re designing for. Their routines, quirks, and non-negotiables. Are they early risers or midnight tea drinkers? Do they need storage behind every wall or open shelving to showcase memories? It’s these little things that guide our space planning, our colour palettes, and even our material choices.
We don’t chase trends — we curate timeless interiors that still feel contemporary. Our style leans transitional: a fluid mix of classic and modern, soft curves with sharp detailing, earthy textures meeting sleek surfaces. We believe a well-designed home should look great today — and still feel relevant a decade from now.
A Signature in Every Home

While every project is different, there’s one element we love weaving into every space — a signature story. Something that becomes the emotional anchor of the home.
It could be a custom-designed console, a statement ceiling, or a splash of colour that brings the whole palette to life. We’ve designed homes where kitchens are inspired by heirloom recipes, or bedrooms that echo a client’s childhood nostalgia. These aren’t just details — they’re moments of memory, materialised.
One such project, which challenged and inspired us, was what we call “The Zen Home.” Unlike our usual colour-forward work, this space embraced the Japandi aesthetic — muted tones, minimal textures, and calming silhouettes. It pushed us to think differently, slow down, and find power in restraint.
Interior Design is More Than Just Styling — It’s Structure, Systems & Sensitivity

Great design isn't just about choosing the right sofa. It’s about aligning the timeline, coordinating contractors, keeping the budget intact, and ensuring the client is updated every step of the way.
That’s why we’ve adopted design CRMs and project management tools — they’ve helped us stay organised, reduce stress for our clients, and streamline even the most complex projects. In a country where home design can be overwhelming and chaotic, we pride ourselves on bringing calm, clarity, and consistency.
We also don’t shy away from being honest. If a material won’t work long-term, we say it. If something goes off track, we address it before it becomes a problem. That’s the value we hold closest — integrity, no matter what.
More Than Designers: What Fuels Us Beyond the Floorplans
Design might be our profession, but it isn’t our only passion. Animal welfare is a cause deeply close to our hearts. Amidst growing cities and changing skylines, we often forget we share space with other species. Supporting rescue organisations, advocating for animal rights, and creating awareness is a responsibility we want to carry forward — in whatever way we can.
The True Reward: Happy Handovers and Homes That Heal
Ask any of us what the best part of this job is — and you’ll always hear the same thing: the handover. That final walkthrough, where our clients see their space come to life, and the look in their eyes says it all. It’s a mix of surprise, joy, and disbelief. That “Is this really our home?” moment.
That’s when the render turns into reality. And we know we’ve done our job right.
Staying Curious, Always Evolving
Interior design is an ever-evolving field. New materials, global styles, smarter technologies — there’s always something to learn. And we’re committed to staying students of the craft. Whether it’s embracing new rendering software, exploring sustainable alternatives, or simply listening better — we want to keep growing.
Because design, like life, should never feel static.
A Note to Everyone Who's Been Part of This Journey
From the clients who trusted us with their most personal spaces, to the collaborators who elevated our ideas, and every craftsman who brought their skill to site — thank you.
If our work has made even a small difference in how someone feels in their home, that’s the real win.
Here’s to more homes with heart, more ideas that challenge us, and many more beautiful stories waiting to be designed.
With warmth,Tesor Designs
