Not every home makes it to the pages of a national design publication — but when intention, craftsmanship, and character come together seamlessly, people take notice. That’s exactly what happened when Good Homes India featured one of our recent residential projects in Bangalore: a 3-BHK apartment that blends functional elegance with quiet glamour.
Designed by Tesor Designs, this home is proof that interior design can be both incredibly personal and editorial-worthy — all while being deeply practical.
Where Functionality and Aesthetic Don’t Compete — They Collaborate

Set in the heart of Bangalore, the apartment is a masterclass in smart planning, refined detailing, and soothing materiality. Our clients wanted more than just a “nice” home. They wanted a space that lived well — filled with smart storage solutions, soothing neutral colour palettes, and design that felt custom, not cookie-cutter.
As always, our process started by listening — to lifestyle, preferences, habits, and routines. Every decision, from the layout of the foyer to the curved mirrors in the dining space, was made with both beauty and usability in mind. Nothing is ornamental for the sake of it. Everything has a reason — and that’s what Good Homes picked up on.
The Living Room: Layered, Lit, and Luxe in the Subtlest Way

Soft-toned walls, a sculptural chandelier, custom lighting, and textured surfaces come together to create a modern living room that feels more like a gentle exhale than a showpiece. The layout encourages connection, but also offers corners of calm — and the filtered daylight makes everything feel breathable and expansive.
As Good Homes highlighted, the balance of warmth and restraint is what gives this space its presence.
A Dining Area That Feels Like an Editorial Moment

One of the most loved corners — and one of our favourites — is the dining space. A delicate mix of curved elements, mirrored wall panels, and ambient lighting make it feel elevated, yet still very much livable. The crockery unit, while highly functional, becomes part of the visual experience — a Tesor signature move, where function meets finesse.
Bedrooms with Soul, Storage, and a Sense of Stillness

Each bedroom in the home tells its own story — from the soft curves in the master suite to the dual-toned wardrobes that feel more like design objects than storage units. We played with fluted finishes, muted wall tones, and layered textiles to create personal sanctuaries that feel emotionally in sync with the people who live in them.
Even the children's room, often the most challenging space to plan, was designed with both adaptability and warmth in mind — with custom-built solutions that grow with the child.
The Real Luxury? Design That Works for Real Life
At Tesor Designs, we’ve always believed that luxury interior design isn’t about extravagance — it’s about effort. About taking the time to understand how a space is used, and then designing it to elevate that experience. This Bangalore home didn’t just earn a magazine feature because it looked good. It earned attention because it works. It functions. It flows. And that’s the kind of luxury that never goes out of style.
We were glad to see this home recently featured by Good Homes India — a quiet nod to the details we obsess over, and the design principles we always return to. From creating a cohesive visual language across the home to prioritising natural light, storage, and material balance, this project was never about chasing trends. It was about understanding how the homeowners lived — and then crafting a space that felt personal, intentional, and effortlessly elegant. Every arch, texture, and palette choice was grounded in function but finished with feeling — and perhaps that’s what stood out.
